Cause and Effect
There were many things that influenced the bus act of 1955 The biggest influence was the discrimination toward the people of color from the whites. Caucasians, at the time, thought it was their right to discriminate against the colored people when in fact it was unconstitutional. Though it was unconstitutional the Caucasians did not mind it. They continued to harass the people of color to an extreme extent. The bus act and boycott impacted the way we see ourselves and others today. It shows all the wrongs we have done and shows us how to correct them. It uncovers the true mystery of what we thought was right and what is.
