days later and was supposed to be a short thing. It lasted for

Boycott's Before:
Before the Montgomery Bus Boycott, there was a similar boycott
that took place in Louisiana in the early fifties. they boycotted
interstate bus travel and eventually won! This victory
lead to the following boycott. Even though it was not as well
known as the Montgomery Boycott, It was still necessary.

After the Montgomery Bus Boycott, many thought that they
should take a stand too. So there were boycotts all over
the country(mostly on the eastern seaboard). There were
different leaders too. For example the Selma march and
the protests lead by Cesar Chavez.
